Acceptable Use Policy

Technical misuse

You must not attempt to:

• Access UK Junction systems or another user's account without authorisation
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access, extract, or interact with UK Junction without our prior written permission
• Introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Platform's operation
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the UK Junction platform, except as permitted by law
• Bypass or circumvent identity verification, moderation, rate-limiting, or payment systems
• Unauthorised access to computer systems may also constitute an offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

Business & verified accounts

Businesses and verified accounts must additionally comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and any sector-specific rules relevant to what they sell, and must not misrepresent their verification or business status.

Enforcement

Breaches of this policy may result in content removal, listing suspension, or account suspension, proportionate to the severity of the breach, in line with the enforcement process described in our Terms & Conditions. Serious breaches, including fraud, illegal content, or threats to safety, may be reported to the police or other relevant authorities.
