Modern Slavery Statement
1. Why this statement exists
Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a slavery and human trafficking statement only from commercial organisations carrying on business in the UK with a total annual turnover of £36 million or more, as set out in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Transparency in Supply Chains) Regulations 2015. UK Junction Trading Ltd's annual turnover is below this threshold, so we are not currently required by law to publish a statement under Section 54. We're publishing this page voluntarily, to be clear about our position rather than staying silent on the subject.
2. Our position
We do not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in any part of our business, and we expect the same standard from anyone we engage as an employee, contractor or supplier. As a small platform business, our supply chain is limited and centres on cloud hosting, payment processing and other software services that keep UK Junction running.
3. Due diligence and supply chain
UK Junction Trading Ltd has not carried out a formal supply-chain risk assessment, adopted a dedicated supplier code of conduct, or run staff training specifically on modern slavery risks. These aren't legal requirements for a business of our size, and we'd rather state that plainly than describe a due-diligence programme that isn't yet in place. If our turnover grows to meet the Section 54 threshold, we will put a full programme in place and publish a statement that reflects it.
4. Reporting a concern
