How to post your first listing

1 MIN READ ยท UPDATED 1 AUG 2026

Posting a listing takes a few minutes. Here's how to get it right the first time.

1. Start a new listing

Select + Post listing from the header, on any page. You'll go through a short, four-step flow: category, details, photos, then review.

2. Choose the right category

Pick the closest match to what you're listing. Getting this right helps buyers find you through search and browse, and you can refine the subcategory in the next step.

3. Write a clear title and description

Good titles are specific: include the brand, model, size or key detail a buyer would search for. In the description, mention condition, age, and anything a buyer would want to know before messaging you.

Tip: A specific, honest description gets fewer time-wasting messages, not more, buyers arrive already knowing what they're getting.

4. Add photos

The Free plan includes 4 photos per listing, Plus includes 8, and Pro includes 10. Use natural light, show the item from multiple angles, and photograph any wear or damage honestly. Your first photo becomes the cover image shown in search results.

5. Review and publish

Check the summary on the final step, then choose Save as draft if you're not ready, or Submit for review to publish. Most listings are reviewed by our moderation team within a few hours.

What happens next

You'll get a notification once your listing is approved and live. If it needs changes instead, My listings will show it as Needs changes, from there you can edit and resubmit it, or appeal the decision.
